This particular project required a unique approach to stage design because the script hinges on simulating a power failure. We designed a stage on which the lighting design became a feature that could be programmed with the beats of the sound track, and maximised the effect by using reflective materials on the surfaces. Coloured lights were built into the set, and the stage lighting was provided by Golden Circle, who also programmed the entire set to run from a lighting desk.

Pyrotechnics, confetti canons, torches and glow sticks all added layers to the overall effect.
